These tools tend to provide detailed insights into your and your competitors’ performance. They typically come with more advanced features, insightful reports, and, at times, even personalized recommendations that can make quite an impact on your SERP rankings.

I’ll probably give you the answer that you hate the most. It depends. It depends on the type of business you’re running. It depends on your target audience. It depends on your general goals and objectives. 

All that said, the fact of the matter is that some paid tools can be well worth it and even ultimately end up costing you less than some free tools, despite how odd that sounds. With free tools, you often have to invest a lot of time and manual work to see any benefits from them. 

You’d have to rely on incomplete data and settle for less insightful reports, which gives your competitors who are using paid solutions an edge.
